The UPG 87501 20 watt solar panel offers you a quiet, clean while carbon-free portable power solution. Capable of converting virtually unlimited solar energy into clean, green, most importantly, free electricity, the UPG 87501 includes a 20-Watt mono-crystalline solar panel.
This solar panel is made of high efficiency mono-crystalline solar cells embedded in transparent vinyl acetate with rail guides for custom installations. Unlike amorphous solar panels, which only last about 5-7 years of continuous use, mono-crystalline solar panels can still retain over 80% of efficiency even after 25 years of continuous use. Also, the mono-crystalline panels are much more efficient and thus smaller in size while producing higher wattage.
This panel is designed and engineered to primarily charge 12-Volt batteries, which store and provide usable power when needed, ideal for powering your RVs, ATV, remote cabins, marine boats and electronic equipments. Buy a solar charge controller (not included and sold separately) to prevent any connected batteries from overcharging.

the UPG Solar panel is very good quality and most of all it works flawlessly its a fast charger. I would recommend the sun-force charge controller for protection.

Good energy producers for my solar lighting projects but the frame seems kind of weak. I reinforced the framework due to the fact that the number one failure with solar panels is the mounting (wind protection).

I would of given this product 5 stars however it needs the true test of longevity to get 5 stars. Its a good product at a DECENT price. I suggest people buy this product VS the goal zero panels for versatility applications.
