5Great product, great service
By Shirad
I have received the product in time, very well packaged, and they send extra cells in case some cracked. In my case, I had 4 cracked cells on top of all the extra ones. So I contacted ML Solar, who responded quickly giving me the choice of full refund of the 4 cracked solar cells or adding them on my next order.I opted for the 2nd option as I am completely satisfied with the product, service, and delivery. There were subsequent emails between me and ML Solar and they take time to answer my questions.I have built my first solar panel using 36 cells aligned 9x4, and I was really content with the results. The solar cells details list that each cell produce 1.8 watts and 3.6 amps, hence, each cell generates 0.5 volts. So my panel should make 0.5v * 36 = 18 volts, and 3.6 amps, hence, 64.8 watts. However, the panel generated +20 volts and 3.82 amps at peaks time. That was around 10:30 AM. Voltage varied between 19.0 and 20.2 volts. Amps, varied between 3.0 to 3.82, stabilizing most of the time between 3.4 and 3.6 amps, depending on the light changes, wind, ... etc.So it seems that each cell actually generated 0.56 volts and 3.82 amps.I am very happy with this product, and will surely place another order.

5completely satisfied

Shipment came quickly. All cells were in good shape with none broken, and some extras were included as well. I was completely satisfied and hope to buy again when I complete this project.

2Extremely Poor Product
By Greyson50
mlSolar advertises "Made in the USA", but look at the picture... see the 'wavy' tab lines? That is a sure sign that these panels were made in china and have proven to me to be an inferior product. At 0.4 Volts and (at best) a current output of 2.3 under a load, these panels do not even come close to advertised standards.I purchased 160 cells from this company... I got 90 unbroken cells. Of the 90 that were unbroken, the cells themselves are extremely warped and unfit for solar panel applications. It was a complete waste of money. When I called the company, I got someone who's accents was so thick there was an extreme communication error, and the representive ended hanging up on me with a really bad attitude... like it is my fault they sell cells in an English speaking nation on Amazon. Two soder pens in uncessary. I'm still working on the first pen. On the other side of the token, there is not enough wire strip (the thin stuff) to cover the entire order. There wasn't even enough footage to cover the 90 cells I was able to salvage.Misleading product, horrible customer service, horrible packaging, broken and useless product. It would not be wise to order from mlSolar.
