I will clarify this one. I did call manufacturer to confirm this, Powerfilm does *NOT* manufacture a 50 watt panel. They did manufacture a batch of 60 watt panels that did not meet output specification and instead of throwing them out, they printed some new product labels and derated them to 50W. The physical specifications are identical to that of the 60W (size weight etc), but output is less, the actual measured output from these typically varies between 50-60W. The 60W panels usually have a MINIMUM output of 60W. Unless you need a guaranteed 60W (3.5-3.6A), these are being sold at half the cost per watt of a 60W panel. You could literally buy two for the same price of a 60W and get at least 100W output. At the price, this is a no-brainer.

Unfortunately it looks like the price has jumped up a couple hundred dollars.to those who bought it when it was $368 you got a deal.I have used my 50W panel (bought 2) for a while and it has worked great.Output on par with the Brunton Solaris which is more expensive.Bob

Major solar output for the buck. I highly recommend getting this portable 50 watt solar charger. Not sure if they are going to offer more, but worth snapping up for under $400.
