The solar cells are encapsulated beneath high transmission tempered glass. The rear surface of the module is completely sealed from moisture and mechanical damage. Construction of the module minimizes weight while providing a durable, protective environment for the solar cells. Considering the fact that solar panels are supplied with MC connector, You will need to buy aditionally cable adapter (not included into the set).
Sturdy aluminum frame protects the solar panel from deformation during transportation, high winds, bad weather. The firm frame allows to fix the panel in the places which are difficult to reach: on the roof, on lampposts, in forest lodges. It allows to fix the solar panel firmly on the sides of cars or boats, its sturdy design won't let the panel deformate and fail on the move. Durable and sturdy aluminum construction will help extend the use of solar panels in the long term. Panel is designed to produce over 80% of the nominal power within 25 years (this efficiency is not covered by the limited power warranty). Each panel is packed in a separate box and secured on both sides by polypropylene plates for better protection during transportation and installation!

The two panels made it through shipping just fine. I tested the output simply with a multimeter and it was in spec. I hooked the panels in parellel on a gazebo roof and they have been keeping two batteries charged and running the lights, fan and some speakers well for about two months now. I would recommend them.
