Tired of all the noise and smell from your diesel generator? The Instapark SPCC-15W offers you a quiet, clean while carbon-free alternative. Capable of converting virtually unlimited solar energy into clean, green, most importantly, free electricity, the Instapark SPCC-15W includes a 15-Watt mono-crystalline solar panel with solar charge controller.
This solar panel is made of high efficiency mono-crystalline solar cells embedded in transparent vinyl acetate behind tempered glass with heavy back sheet ensuring maintenance free performance. Unlike amorphous solar panels, which only last about 5-7 years of continuous use, mono-crystalline solar panels can still retain over 80% of efficiency even after 25 years of continuous use. Also, the mono-crystalline panels are much more efficient and thus smaller in size while producing higher wattage.
This kit is designed and engineered to primarily charge 12-Volt batteries, which store and provide usable power when needed, ideal for powering your RVs, ATV, marine boats and electronic equipments. The included solar charge controller helps prevent any connected batteries from overcharging. Other than recreational applications, solar power can also help lower your energy bills by reducing your dependence on the main electrical grid and provide back-up power during power outages.
All Instapark solar panels have a 5-year limited product warranty that covers its Photovoltaic modules to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal application, installation, use and service conditions, and a power warranty that guarantees a power output greater than 80% of the minimum peak power as specified within 25 years from the date of delivery. If the PV modules fail to conform to these warranties, then Instapark will, at its sole discretion, either repair or replace the product.

Item arrived in seven days which is faster than promised. I found panel quality to be fine for the price paid of 72 dollars which includes the controller and free shipping. It was very easy to hook up and works great. I use the solar panel to keep a 12v deep cycle battery charged for my electric bear fence. I used to have to charge the battery every two or three weeks to be sure it was up to par. With the solar panel hooked up I get a stronger shock all the time because battery remains fully charged which give me peace of mind, and should extend the battery life. I will be buying one of these for every bee yard I have.

Nice!! Even has a USB charging port. I used it to charge my phone and my digital camera just to try it out. Even though the sticker says it will not charge an iPhone, it works fine with mine! I bought this for my hurricane kit. I am also thinking of using it to power a small 12v fan to keep the humidity low in my boat that I keep covered at my house. I have 5 of these fans and it makes them run so fast, one of them actually took off like a helicopter and broke!!I would have given it 5 stars if they included easier mounting holes. I don't know why their aren't holes all the way through, and I am afriad I might break it if I drill some myself.

This puts out the specified power. What I don't like is the general cheap feel of the units. The frame seems a little flimsy and there is no bypass diode in the junction box on the back.Overall, it's OK, but next time I would buy a unit from Osprey-Talon
